Ralph-Strangis-to-fill-in-for-Bob-Miller

Ralph Strangis is now scheduled to call the next seven LA Kings games on FOX Sports West alongside Jim Fox as Bob Miller continues to recuperate from his health setback late last month.
Strangis will call Kings games from February 16-28.
The Kings and Miller will look to provide an update on his return near the end of this month.

"Bob's health remains our utmost priority and this was a joint decision. We share our fans sentiments and wish Bob a safe and speedy recovery. The Kings and our entire broadcasting crew are appreciative of Ralph and his efforts here," the club said in a statement.
Strangis has called multiple Kings games this season on FOX Sports West. Most recently, he called the Kings 3-0 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on January 26.

He is known best as the former "Voice of the Dallas Stars." He was in the booth for 25 years with the franchise going back to their beginnings as the Minnesota North Stars.
For his on-air work, Strangis has been awarded seven Lone Star Emmys, eight Associated Press Awards and a Dallas Press Club Katy Award. Recently he has written editorial columns and essays for the Dallas Morning News.
The Kings return to practice on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.
The Kings next home game against the Arizona Coyotes game will be broadcast on FOX Sports West and KABC Radio 790 on Thursday, February 16.
