Tonight, the Edmonton Oilers make their first STAPLES Center appearance of the 2017-18 season.
The LA Kings last faced them in January and dispatched Edmonton 5-0 at Rogers Place. As the Kings look to build momentum off their Saturday night victory, the Oilers will be seeking revenge and hoping to turn their season around.
Don't miss a minute of the action, whether in person, online or on TV.

Shutout Streak

Since the 2018 All-Star Weekend, the Kings have played in three consecutive shutouts. A 3-0 shutout at the Dallas Stars, a 5-0 loss to the Nashville Predators and a 6-0 defeat of the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday night. The Kings have appeared in eight shutouts this season, posting a 6-2 record in those games.

Connor McDavid

Wednesday night will be just the fifth career game at STAPLES Center for the Oilers young captain. McDavid has 7 points in 9 career games against the Kings, yet only three of them, a goal and two assists, have come in LA.
The Oilers are winless at STAPLES Center with McDavid in the lineup and haven't won in LA since November 3, 2011.
