SEATTLE, Wash. -- October 6, 2021 -- Today, Climate Pledge Arena and the Seattle Kraken announce the use of
CLEAR's Health Pass
as the method of vaccine verification for all events at the arena.
As previously announced, all guests, ages 12 and over attending Kraken games, concerts and other events at Climate Pledge Arena will be required to provide proof of vaccination upon entry. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine.
"We are excited to welcome fans to Climate Pledge Arena this month and our goal is to create a safe environment for everyone," Don Graham, Senior Vice President at OVG and COVID-19 Taskforce lead for Climate Pledge Arena. "CLEAR's Health Pass system will not only help us verify our guests' vaccination status but also do so in an efficient way. We encourage fans to enroll, and upload required documents ahead of time for quick access to the arena."

Getting to Green

CLEAR's Health Pass is a free, mobile experience on the CLEAR app, which securely connects a person's verified identity to their proof of vaccination. All visitors 14 years and older are required to upload their proof of vaccination to the CLEAR's Health Pass for admission. Any visitors aged 12-14 will present their vaccination card at the arena for manual verification.
After downloading the free CLEAR Health Pass application from the Google Play or Apple app stores, guests will participate in a one-time enrollment to set up their Health Pass account.
The CLEAR Health Pass app will also be integrated into the soon-to-be-released Climate Pledge Arena and Seattle Kraken mobile app for a seamless user experience on event day. From the app, fans who are enrolled in the Health Pass program can access their verified health pass and event tickets by simply clicking a button.

Upcoming Events

Climate Pledge Arena will open to the public on Friday, October 22, with 7-time Grammy Award winners Coldplay before the Seattle Kraken's inaugural home game in franchise history against division-rival the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, October 23.
Fans attending Kraken practices at Kraken Community Iceplex, are required to show proof of vaccination alongside their ID. All guests at both the Iceplex and the arena are required to wear a mask while attending events until further guidance from Washington state.
