With eight days until the opening regular-season puck drop, the Kraken announced two more roster moves Monday. Forwards Alexander True and Carsen Twarynski were placed on league waivers.
If the two players, both with NHL game experience and Seattle selections in this summer's expansion draft clear the 24-hour waiver period that expires at 11 a.m. Tuesday, they will be assigned to the Kraken's American Hockey League affiliate Charlotte Checkers. True played in the San Jose Sharks organization last season and Twarynski joined the Kraken from the Philadelphia Flyers.

Both True and Twarynski appeared in preseason games for the Kraken.
Earlier Monday, Charlotte announced its initial training camp roster, which includes five Kraken players under contract: forward Luke Henman, defensemen Connor Carrick, Cale Fleury and Gustav Olofsson plus goaltender Antoine Bibeau.
The Checkers first full on-ice practice will take place Tuesday. The Checkers' current roster consists of 21 players, including nine that are under NHL contracts with the Florida Panthers, plus five that are under NHL contracts (including first-ever signee Luke Henman) with the Kraken. Forward Scott Wilson, who was in camp with Seattle, signed an AHL contract and will play for Charlotte.
