It was the first game for a new look Seattle roster and the group seemed to find their footing. They controlled possession and found three of four goals on special teams - a welcome sign for a power play that wanted to improve compared to last season. New players Oliver Bjorkstrand and Andre Burakovsky both potted goals, and Matty Beniers netted the first multi-point of his career.
