At six-foot-four, 207 pounds, Dumoulin finished the regular season with 123 hits and a team-leading 142 blocked shots, both of which were the second-highest totals of his career. During 5-on-5 play last season, Dumoulin was on the ice for 66 goals for, which ranked fourth on Pittsburgh's roster and was the third-most of his career. The 2022-23 regular season marked the seventh-consecutive year in which he averaged more than 20 minutes of ice time per game, finishing the season ranked third among Penguins skaters with 20:38 of average ice time.
