One: Keeping Response Goals in Perspective

It was the 11th time this season that the Kraken have allowed a goal within two minutes of scoring one of their own. The Kraken have won just one game when a Seattle-Opponent
response goal
has occurred, as per colleague Alison Lukan.
Here's some perspective on Miller's goal and how the Kraken played tight, responsive hockey of their own:

Two: Eye on Kraken: Gourde, Grubauer

Yanni Gourde lasered a one-timer to tie the game Sunday and was also robbed earlier in the game by Shesterkin's glove. He looked pumped after that tying goal and expect more fire and ice time for Gourde Tuesday. His speed is notably up a notch or two.
Grubauer made a number of saves Sunday to keep his team close and not let momentum go awry - especially standing tall when a three-goal lead would have been close to insurmountable. Grubauer faced fewer shots on goal and shot attempts than recent games, but stayed in rhythm (something he struggled with a bit in early season games).

Three: Know the Foe: Boston Bruins (25-14-3, fourth in the Atlantic)

Boston's offensive prowess is known and scary. Brad Marchand is annoying to many opponents and the Bruins' leading scorer. David Pastrnak has 20 goals. Patrice Bergeron is an elite two-way forward. It will be notable for Kraken fans to see who Dave Hakstol tries to put on the ice against them.
The Bruins' long-time goalie, Tuukka Rask, is back in the fold but not available Tuesday. Linus Ullmark started Sunday, giving up four goals in a 6-1 loss at Dallas. Jeremy Swayman relieved him after the fourth goal and surrendered two more. Check back on our Kraken app and website to see who gets the nod in net against the Kraken.
