Compared to the last time these two teams met, it was a completely different Kraken group that welcomed the Senators to Seattle. Not only were there a lot of new names on the ice, unlike the March matchup in Ottawa, the Kraken scored first, played a controlling game, and secured a regulation win.

What worked? The relatively new line of Yanni Gourde, Jared McCann and Karson Kuhlman was a driver of play all night. The power play scored again. And newcomers Daniel Sprong, Victor Rask and Matty Beniers all got on the scoresheet. In net, Chris Driedger turned away 36 of the 38 shots sent his way, allowing just two goals against.
