The Kraken came back to Seattle with hopes of extending their win streak to nine games, but it was not to be. Tampa Bay came to town and, powered by a stronger first period for the visitors than the home team, pushed to a 4-1 victory at Climate Pledge Arena. The home team would rebound in their overall effort but couldn't break through Andrei Vasilevskiy more than once.
The score undersells the effort by Philipp Grubauer who was outstanding in his game, (two of the goals were empty netters).
