The Lightning and the Lightning Foundation are set to host their fourth Hockey Talks Night Thursday as the Bolts take on the Coyotes at AMALIE Arena. It’s a night that holds a special place not only in the community but for a number of Lightning players and staff, as we all come together to raise awareness and help end the stigma surrounding mental health. The NHL's Hockey Talks initiative was launched by the Vancouver Canucks in 2011 after the tragic passing of one of their former players, Rick Rypien. Today, 18 of the NHL's 32 teams use the Hockey Talks foundation to grow the conversation supporting mental health and wellness.
