Lightning goalie Ben Bishop left Tuesday's game against the Detroit Red Wings 12 minutes into the first period at Amalie Arena. He made four saves on four Red Wings shots before appearing to suffer a lower-body injury while stretching to make a save.
The team announced on Wednesday that Bishop will miss 3-4 weeks with a lower-body injury

After the Bolts secured a 4-1 win over Detroit, Lightning coach Jon Cooper declined to speculate on the severity of Bishop's injury and said the goaltender will be re-evaluated on Wednesday.
The 30-year old goalie has nine wins in 21 starts this year and a .906 save percentage and a 2.82 GAA.
Bishop was a Vezina Trophy finalist in 2014-15 and is the Lightning career leader in wins by a goaltender.
