POTM-2568x1444-Stamkos

Steven Stamkos closed the regular season with a record-setting April.
The Captain led the League with 33 points, setting a new franchise record for points in a calendar month. He also moved past Martin St. Louis to become the Lightning's all-time leading scorer with his 954th career point.

Beginning with an April 14 game against Anaheim, Stamkos recorded multi-point performances in each of Tampa Bay's final nine games of the month. Highlighting that stretch was a three-point effort against the Maple Leafs that saw Stamkos record the 954th point of his career on a power play one-timer from his office at the left circle.

Stamkos closed the month with 13 points in the last four games of the season, including back-to-back four point nights against Florida and Columbus, as well as a hat trick in the regular season finale versus the Islanders.
Stamkos' big final month saw him hit the 100-point mark on the season for the first time in his career. The run also helped Stamkos reach 40 goals for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
