POTM-2568x1444-Stamkos

Two months into the season, Steven Stamkos is showing no signs of slowing down offensively.
The Lightning Captain continued his fast start to 2021-22 in November, leading the team with six goals and 12 points last month.

After being held without a point in the first two games of the month, Stamkos picked up a goal and an assist in a 5-3 victory over the Senators on Nov. 6. He had the primary helper on Victor Hedman's power play goal in the first period and broke a tie game with a goal off a rebound midway through the third period.

Stamkos had another multi-point night on Nov. 18 in Philadelphia. Already with an assist on a goal from Brayden Point earlier in the game, Stamkos gave the Lightning a late lead with a shot from a tight angle out of the corner that squeaked through a sliver of space at the near post. After the Flyers rallied late, Stamkos burried his chance in the first round of the shootout as Tampa Bay went on to win 4-3.
His best performance of the month came in a rematch against the Fleyrs at Amalie Arena five nights later. Stamkos factored on each of the Lightning's final three goals, scoring himself in the second and adding assists on goals from Corey Perry and Alex Barre-Boulet.
Stamkos finished the month with points in four-straight games, and, with an assist on Thursday against the Blues, now has a point streak that sits at five.
