When the Tampa Bay Lightning took the ice for a very brief practice Wednesday afternoon, there were plenty of players that never emerged from the locker room.

Erik Cernak, Mikey Eyssimont and Victor Hedman, who all left Game 1 with injuries, were absent from practice, along with Ian Cole, who logged 24:18 of ice time on Tuesday, the fourth-most ice time he's had in a game this season.
A positive sign for the Bolts was Tanner Jeannot, who continues to practice with the team in a regular-colored jersey and looks like he may make his playoff debut Thursday night after suffering what appeared to be a very serious lower-body injury nearly two weeks ago on Long Island.
"Feeling really good," Jeannot said after practice on Wednesday. "Just gotta wait and see I guess, but everything's feeling really well, and the trainers did a great job and I'm feeling good on the ice, so we'll see.
"I feel good. Just lots of factors that go into it, so we'll see."
Acquired at this year's trade deadline, Jeannot looked to really be settling in with Tampa Bay over his last few games leading up to the injury. He scored his first goal with the Lightning against the Islanders on April 1 and was generating several scoring chances over his last stretch of games.
"I was feeling really good playing in those games before I got hurt," said Jeannot. "But just keep the same mindset. I know my game. I know what I need to do to be useful and effective out there.
"It's been like that my whole career. I know how to play my game, so just keep it simple and do that."
During his media availability, Bolts head coach Jon Cooper was asked about Jeannot's availability for Thursday night.
"Yeah, we'll hope," said Cooper. "We'll see tomorrow what kind of roster we can field."
Asked if Jeannot could play tomorrow, Cooper answered, "Potentially, yes."
Cooper also provided updates on the three players that were forced to leave the game with injuries Tuesday night - Cernak, Eyssimont and Hedman.
Cernak and Eyssimont will both be unavailable for Game 2, while Hedman will be a game-time decision for the Lightning.
Asked if Cole is OK for Game 2, Cooper responded, "Yeah, he should be."
If Hedman is unable to play for Tampa Bay, look for Haydn Fleury or Zach Bogosian to draw in on the back end for the Lightning.
Game 2 is set for 7 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena Thursday night.
