TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired a fourth-round draft pick from the Edmonton Oilers, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced today. Additionally, the Lightning traded unsigned goalie Ty Taylor to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for center Adam Henrique, who was then sent to the Oilers for the aforementioned fourth-round selection.

The Lightning will retain 25 percent of Henrique’s cap hit. The fourth-round pick the Lightning acquired is for the 2025 NHL draft. Should Edmonton win the Stanley Cup in 2024, the fourth-round pick will move to 2026 NHL Entry Draft.
