The Lightning have strung together two of their best performances of the season in their pair of wins this week. Tampa Bay was dominatant in a 2-1 win over the Panthers on Tuesday and backed that up with a 3-2 victory over Boston on Thursday.
Washington is also playing well, having won eight of their last nine games.
