2-8_goodrow

Barclay Goodrow recorded a team-high four points as the Lightning went a perfect 3-0-0 last week.

Goodrow opened the week with an assist on Yanni Gourde's empty netter versus the Predators on Monday. With less than a minute remaining, Goodrow stripped Dante Fabbro at the blueline, leaving the puck at center ice for Gourde to collect and score.
In Wednesday's series-opening win over Detroit, Goodrow picked up the secondary assist on a Ryan McDonagh tally. Goodrow helped start the breakout from the defensive zone that led to McDonagh's goal to put Tampa Bay up 3-0 early in the first period.

DET@TBL: Goodrow hammers Rutta's dish into the net

Goodrow's best performance of the week came on Friday, when he scored twice to lead the Lightning over the Red Wings. With the game tied at one late in the second period, Goodrow was left unmarked coming off the bench and one-timed home Jan Rutta's feed for what would turn into the game-winning goal. He then added an empty netter with less than 30 seconds to play that gave Tampa Bay some insurance.
Goodrow finished the week with a +4 rating that was tied for the highest on the Bolts. Goodrow's three-game point streak is also his longest since joining Tampa Bay at last season's trade deadline.
