With the Lightning beginning a new week riding an eight-game winning streak, Nikita Kucherov has been a big reason for the team's success as of late.

Kucherov matched his season-best with five points in the Lightning's 5-1 win over the Blue Jackets on Monday. Kucherov factored into every Tampa Bay goal, scoring twice and adding three assists.

After being held off the scoresheet in the Bolts' 5-2 win over the Flyers on Tuesday, Kucherov scored the lone regulation goal and then netted the game-winner in the shootout as Tampa Bay defeated Buffalo 2-1 at Amalie Arena on Thursday.
Heading into play on Monday, Kucherov sits at 100 points, seven clear of Patrick Kane for first place in the League's scoring race.
