Steven Stamkos leaves game with lower-body injury

The Tampa Bay Lightning got one player back from injury in their Easter Sunday tilt with the NHL-leading Nashville Predators but lost another during the game.
Lightning captain Steven Stamkos missed the remainder of the game with a lower-body injury. Stamkos took one shift in the second period but didn't make another appearance and was not seen on the Bolts bench for the rest of the period.
Lightning coach Jon Cooper did not provide an update on Stamkos in his post-game press conference; instead saying the team hopes to know more on Monday.

Stamkos has been dealing with what he called a nagging injury that kept him out of Tampa Bay's game March 26 versus Arizona, the first game he's missed all season. It's unknown if this latest injury that forced him to leave the game against the Predators is the same one that kept him from the Arizona game.
Stamkos is one player the Lightning can ill-afford to lose with the playoffs a little over a week away. He ranks second on the Bolts for scoring (86 points) and is tied with Nikita Kucherov for the team assists lead (59).
The Lightning got Ryan Callahan back for Sunday's game against the Predators. Callahan, who has four goals and 11 assists in 63 games this season, had missed the previous five games with an upper-body injury suffered March 20 versus Toronto.
