TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning, along with Chase, and Metropolitan Ministries, are teaming up to host two toy drives next week at AMALIE Arena. This collection will make a tremendous impact for families in need and offer fans the experience of shared joy through giving.

AMALIE ARENA TOY DRIVE
What: The Lightning and Chase will be hosting a toy drive at AMALIE Arena over two days next week. Together, the Lightning and Chase will be collecting toys during the contactless, drive-thru event to donate to Metropolitan Ministries who has an urgent need for the families they serve over the holiday season. The Lightning invite fans to bring one or more new, unwrapped toys and be entered to win a #18 Ondrej Palat ADIZERO Autographed Replica Jersey.

Who: Lightning, Chase and Metropolitan Ministries employees.
When: Tuesday, December 15 and Wednesday, December 16 from Noon until 6 p.m. each day
Where: AMALIE Arena, 15-Minute Circle Drop Off (401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL)
On December 14 and 17 at the Metropolitan Ministries Holiday Tent, located at 2609 North Rome Ave in Tampa, 20 Lightning staff members will volunteer for multiple shifts. The Bolts representatives will assist with client shopping, parking, wagon pulling, donation drop-offs, café operations and childcare while providing holiday meals and cheer for thousands of families from the Tampa Bay area.
Metropolitan Ministries, a faith-based and community supported non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, is funded through charitable support of the community, including individuals, businesses, congregations, schools, foundations and civic groups, serving the needs of poor and homeless families in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Polk counties.
