2017 CALDER CUP PLAYOFFS
Dispatching the Providence Bruins (Boston) in five games, the Syracuse Crunch are back in the Calder Cup Finals for the first time since 2013. They will go up against the Grand Rapids Griffins (Detroit), setting up a rematch of that same final in 2013 in which Grand Rapids took the series 4-2.

2017 MEMORIAL CUP
The Memorial Cup is awarded annually to the Canadian Hockey League champion and is a round robin tournament comprised of four teams: the OHL regular season champion, the QMJHL regular season champion, the WHL regular season champion, and a host team that cycles each year among the three leagues. This year, the Erie Otters (OHL), Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL), Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL), and the Windsor Spitfires (OHL) all competed in Windsor at the WFCU Centre from May 19-28. The Lightning had five prospects in the tournament. Erie advanced to the Final, but fell 4-3 to Windsor.

Cirelli was awarded the George Parsons Trophy as the most sportsmanlike player in the Memorial Cup, and posted a goal and seven assists through the five games.
RW Taylor Raddysh, Erie Otters
Drafted 58th overall (2nd Round) in 2016
Tied for first in Otters scoring with Dylan Strome, Raddysh recorded five goals and six assists in the tournament. He and Strome were awarded the Ed Chynoweth Trophy as the leading scorers, and Raddysh was named to the Memorial Cup's All-Star Team.
