TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled forward Yanni Gourde from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced Monday.

Gourde, 25, has skated in two games with the Lightning this season, recording one shot on goal. The Saint-Narcisse, Quebec native has skated in four career NHL games, all with the Bolts over the past two seasons, registering one assist. Gourde made his NHL debut on December 15, 2015 at Toronto, recording his first career NHL point (assist) in the game. The 5-foot-9, 172-pound forward has appeared in 55 games with Syracuse this season, posting 22 goals and 46 points to go along with 54 penalty minutes. He ranks first on the Crunch for goals, shorthanded goals (four) and is third for points and assists (24).
Gourde went undrafted and originally agreed to terms with the Lightning on March 9, 2014.
