TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Jaydon Dureau to a three-year, entry-level contract today, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced.

Dureau, 5-foot-11, 172 pounds, played in 49 games with the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL this season, recording 24 goals and 66 points, both career highs. He ranked fifth on the Winterhawks for goals and points. Dureau also played in nine WHL playoff games and registered a goal to go along with six points. Dureau played in three games with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL, scoring one goal.
A native of White City, Saskatchewan, Dureau played in 207 career games with Portland, notching 65 goals and 196 points. He also appeared in 14 career postseason games during 2019 and 2022. Dureau has also played in five AHL games with the Crunch during the previous two seasons.
Dureau was selected by the Lightning in the fifth round, 147th overall, of the 2020 NHL Draft. Jaydon and his family are part of the Ahtahkakoop Cree First Nation.
