Fans are encouraged to arrive early for festivities on Ford Thunder Alley prior to the game which will include face painters, a live DJ, balloon artists and much more. A used equipment sale will give fans a chance to buy gear used by the Lightning beginning at 2 p.m.
Once inside AMALIE Arena, fans will have the opportunity to get free cotton candy and popcorn, while supplies last, prior to puck-drop. Patrons can also purchase $2 canned sodas and hot dogs, $4 Little Caesars Super Slices, $7 PDQ three-piece chicken tender combos and $7 order of Tots at concession stand 214, while supplies last.
During the first intermission, fans will be able to meet and get autographs from Lightning alumni at Rum Fish Grill located at Section 106. Alumni expected to be in attendance include Dave Andreychuk, Brian Bradley, Jassen Cullimore, Daren Puppa and Ruslan Fedotenko.
Additionally, fans will have the chance to win an opportunity to receive a jersey on the ice immediately following the game from a Lightning player by entering to win using #ProudToBeTheThunder and tweeting their photos and reasons for being a fan to @TBLightning. Lightning players will take their jerseys right off their backs after the game and present them to 20 lucky winners. The Lightning will also have contests on Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter for opportunities for fans to win other prizes throughout the night.
As another thank you to fans, Chase and the Lightning will be giving away more than $5,000 worth of prizes during the night. Prizes include Martin St. Louis' limited-edition signed items, a $250 Tampa Bay Sports gift card, Lightning signed sticks, tickets to future events at AMALIE Arena, Apple products and much more.
