TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning will host a watch party in Downtown Tampa's Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for the team's Game 1 match-up against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday, April 10, immediately following a free concert hosted by the National Hockey League and featuring GRAMMY Award-winning band Cage the Elephant. The concert will begin at 5:15 p.m.

The watch party will feature the Lightning game broadcast, live music, entertainment, games, food trucks, giveaways and more. For fans attending the game, they can participate in the "Route to the Rink" along the Tampa Riverwalk from Curtis Hixon Park to AMALIE Arena.
FOX Sports Sun's 7 p.m. broadcast of the Lightning-Blue Jackets game will open with Cage The Elephant's live performance from Curtis Hixon Park. NBC will re-air Cage The Elephant's performance during its 3 p.m. live Stanley Cup Playoffs game broadcast on Saturday, April 13.
The concert, rain or shine, will be open to the public. No ticket will be required to attend the performance. Afterward, fans are welcome to stay at Curtis Hixon Park to watch the Lightning game broadcast on video screens.
