The night will include LGBTQ messaging on LightningVision throughout the game, including a PSA from Bolts You Can Play representative Brian Boyle. The game's Community Hero honoree will also be tied to the LGBTQ community and will benefit Equality Florida. Groups from Equality Florida, Diversity Tampa Bay and Balance Tampa Bay will be recognized in-arena and proceeds from the game's 50/50 drawing, presented by Moffitt Cancer Center, will benefit local LGBTQ charities.
Players for both the Lightning and Flames will be using rainbow-colored stick tape in spirit of the evening. A select number of sticks used will be auctioned off behind section 120 during the game, while the rest can be bid on starting the following morning through March 3 at auctions.nhl.com with proceeds benefiting the You Can Play Project (
