TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning will host their fifth annual Pride Night, presented by Hornitos, on Tuesday, March 29 when they host the Carolina Hurricanes at AMALIE Arena. In conjunction with the National Hockey League and You Can Play, the Lightning will dedicate the game to celebrate inclusion in the sport.

Lightning players will once again tape their sticks with rainbow colored Pride tape for morning skate and warmups. Pride sticks, along with signed jerseys with Pride numbers and other Lightning Pride memorabilia, will be auctioned off to benefit local LGBTQ+ charities via the Lightning Foundation. The Executive Directors from Tampa Pride, Carrie West, and St. Pete Pride, Nicole Berman, will be joining us for the pre-game puck drop. Both non-profits celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community through cultural events, educational programs and advocacy action.
The Lightning will also have numerous promotions throughout the game to highlight Pride Night, including the 50/50 Raffle, presented by Moffitt Cancer Center, with the proceeds going to designated local non-profits within the Tampa Bay LGBTQ+ community. . Chase will hand out 1,000 Pride koozies to the first 1,000 fans at the Chase Entrance to AMALIE Arena.
Additionally, a limited supply of Pride Mystery Pucks will be available for sale starting at 6 p.m. at boltspride.givesmart.com. For every mystery puck sold, Florida Blue will make a $10 donation to Metro Inclusive Health (METRO), a local non-profit that provides primary medical care, mental health and psychiatric services, LGBTQ+ affirming community programs for all ages, and much more. Florida Blue will also be matching Pride t-shirt sales up to 200 tees.
