The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has acquired forward Sergey Kalinin from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for defenceman Viktor Loov. Kalinin will report to the Toronto Marlies (AHL).
Kalinin, 25, has skated in 43 regular season games with the New Jersey Devils this season, collecting four points (two goals, two assists). In 121 career NHL games over the last two seasons, the Omsk, Russia native has registered 19 points (10 goals, nine assists) and 48 penalty minutes.

Loov, 24, appeared in 41 games with the Toronto Marlies this season, registering six points. Loov has skated in four career NHL games and is a former 7th round draft pick (2012) of the Maple Leafs.
The Maple Leafs return to the ice tonight when they host the Ottawa Senators at 7 p.m., while the Marlies host the Manitoba Moose this afternoon at 3 p.m.
