Maple Leafs Agree to Terms With Mitch Marner

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Mitch Marner on a six-year contract extension. The average annual value of the contract is $10.893 million.

Marner, 22, skated in 82 games for the Maple Leafs in 2018-19 and recorded a career-high 94 points (26 goals, 68 assists). In 241 career NHL regular season games, he has recorded 224 points (67 goals, 157 assists), while registering 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists) in 20 career Stanley Cup playoff games.
Marner was originally drafted by the Maple Leafs in the first round (4th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
