The Hamilton, Ontario native has collected seven points (one goal, six assists) in 103 regular season NHL games while registering 44 points (six goals, 38 assists) in 129 American Hockey League games. He was selected by the Senators in the fourth round (108th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
Luchuk, 22, split the 2018-19 season between the AHL's Belleville Senators and the ECHL's Brampton Beast. The Kingston, Ontario native collected nine points (four goals, five assists) in 27 games with Belleville and 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists) in 32 games with Brampton. Luchuk signed an entry-level contract with the Senators on December 26, 2017.
