The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Bobby McMann to a two-year, two-way future contract. The average annual value of the contract is $762,500.

McMann, 25, has posted 35 points (24G, 11A) in 60 games with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) during the 2021-22 season. The Wainwright, AB product leads Toronto's rookies in goals and is ranked second in points this season. On April 28th, McMann scored his 24th goal of the season, setting a franchise record for most goals scored in a rookie season, previously held by Josh Leivo with 23 goals during the 2013-14 season. Through 81 career AHL games with Toronto, McMann has recorded 39 points (26G, 13A). McMann began his professional career in the Leafs organization with the club's ECHL affiliate, the Newfoundland Growlers. McMann has skated in four games with the Growlers this season where he recorded four points (2G, 2A). McMann has posted 21 points (8G, 13A) through 22 career ECHL games split between Newfoundland and the Wichita Thunder while adding two points (1G, 1A) in five playoff games with Wichita.

Prior to turning pro, McMann recorded 92 points (37G, 55A) in 145 career NCAA games with Colgate University. McMann served as captain during the 2019-20 season and was named to the NCAA (ECAC) Third All-Star Team in 2018-19.
