The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has signed goaltender Joseph Woll to a one-year, two-way contract extension. The contract carries an NHL salary of $750,000.

Woll, 23, has appeared in 47 games with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) through two seasons, posting a 18-23-3 record with an .884 save percentage and 3.68 goals against average. Prior to joining Toronto, Woll skated in 101 games with Boston College, registering a 2.51 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.
Internationally, the Dardenne Prairie, MO native has represented the United States on multiple occasions, most recently capturing bronze at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship and gold at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship.
Woll was selected by the Leafs in the third round (62nd overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.
