Kaskisuo split the 2017-18 season between the Chicago Wolves (AHL), the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL). He won in his lone appearance with the Marlies this season, stopping 26 of 27 shots in a 2-1 victory over Springfield on October 15, before he was loaned to the Wolves by the Maple Leafs on October 23. With Chicago, he posted a record of 13-13-2 with a 2.38 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. In 38 career AHL games split between the Marlies and Wolves, Kaskisuo is 20-14-3 with a 2.25 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage. He has also appeared in 10 career Calder Cup playoff games with the Toronto Marlies in 2017 and went 5-3 with a 2.66 goals-against average and a .892 save percentage. In two ECHL games with Orlando in 2017-18, he went 1-1-0 with a 3.91 goals-against average and a .884 save percentage.
Kaskisuo was originally signed to a two-year entry level contract by the Maple Leafs on March 28, 2016.
