The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has signed defenceman Mac Hollowell to a one-year, two-way contract extension. The average annual value of the contract is $750,000 at the NHL level.

Hollowell, 23, has posted 14 points (3G, 11A) in 23 games with the Toronto Marlies this season. The Niagara Falls, Ontario product has recorded 36 points (8G, 28A) in 84 career AHL games with the Marlies. Prior to turning pro, Hollowell appeared in 259 career OHL games with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds where he posted 183 points (42G, 141A) while collecting 34 points (5G, 29A) in 58 playoff games. Hollowell was recognized by the league during the 2018-19 season when he was named to the OHL First All-Star Team.
Hollowell was selected by Toronto in the fourth round (118th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
