Maple Leafs & MLSE Appoint Mark Fraser and Justin Bobb to New Roles

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) announced today the appointment of Maple Leafs alumnus Mark Fraser to the role of Player Development, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Justin Bobb as Director, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion - Team Strategy.
Fraser will begin March 1, 2021 and will report into the Maple Leafs front office and MLSE's Senior Vice-President of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Teri Dennis-Davies. The Ottawa native will work directly with the players and staff within all MLSE teams as the EDI department looks to further educate and bring positive change within its teams and the community.
Bobb will support the Maple Leafs, as well as a number of other MLSE teams, in developing and executing on their Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategies. With the Maple Leafs, Bobb will work closely with Fraser in his work supporting the players and advancing the club's work, and impact in the community, in this important area.

Fraser spent parts of two seasons with the Maple Leafs in 2012-13 and 2013-14. In total, he skated in 219 career NHL regular season games between New Jersey, Toronto and Edmonton after being drafted in the 3rd round (84th overall) by the Devils.
Bobb takes on this new role after serving as Director, Sport and Operations for MLSE LaunchPad since 2016 where he has assisted in bridging the gap, using sport as a tool of engagement for communities facing barriers. In addition to his leadership experience within the not-for-profit sector for organizations including Toronto Community Housing Corporation, Fillactive/FitSpirit and Toronto Sport Council, he currently holds Board of Directors roles for Canada's National Ballet School and the Coaches Association of Ontario as well as strategic committee roles with City of Toronto Sport Reference Group, the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) and Canadian Paralympic Committee's Ontario Parasport Collective.
