Engvall, 23, has registered 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 35 games with the Maple Leafs this season. The Ljungby, Sweden native also appeared in 94 career AHL regular season games with the Toronto Marlies, recording 56 points (30 goals, 26 assists). He added 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 34 career playoff games and captured the Calder Cup as a member of the Marlies in 2018.
Engvall was originally drafted by the Maple Leafs in the seventh round (188th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.
