London defenseman Evan Bouchard, who earned an A rating from Central Scouting, is one of 11 players who will compete in both games. Bouchard (6-foot-2, 193 pounds) leads London with eight points (two goals, six assists) in 10 games.
Ottawa defenseman Kevin Bahl (6-6, 231), who earned a B rating, has five points, all assists, in 11 games. He'll play in Sudbury.
Mississauga goaltender Jacob Ingham, who also earned a B rating, is 0-5-0 with a 4.80 goals-against average and .854 save percentage in five games. He'll play in Owen Sound.
Three forwards chosen in the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft also will play for the OHL, among them forward Nick Suzuki, chosen No. 13 by the Vegas Golden Knights, who will play in both games. Robert Thomas (No. 20, St. Louis Blues) will play in Owen Sound, and Morgan Frost (No. 27, Philadelphia Flyers) will play in Sudbury.
The rosters were selected by the OHL in conjunction with Hockey Canada. Windsor coach Trevor Letowski will coach both games. Owen Sound coach Todd Gill will be the assistant for the game in Owen Sound, and Sudbury coach Cory Stillman will be the assistant for the game in Sudbury.
The six-game Canada Russia Series also will see teams representing the Western Hockey League (Nov. 6-7) and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (Nov. 14, Nov. 16) playing Russia. The WHL roster for was
released Tuesday
. Other rosters will be announced at a later date.
The games are part of the process of picking the teams for Canada and Russia for the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship, which will be played in Buffalo from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.
