Nikita Kucherov, TBL -- The Tampa Bay Lightning right wing finished second in Yahoo last season with an NHL career-high 100 points (39 goals, 61 assists) in 80 games. Kucherov was part of an elite first-line duo with center Steven Stamkos, who finished eighth in Yahoo. Kucherov was the only player in the NHL with at least 100 points, 30 power-play points and 200 shots on goal. He gains additional value playing on a strong team and having the security of a talented power-play unit (23.9 percent last season, third in NHL). These gaudy numbers make him a lock to be selected among the top five in season-long fantasy drafts. Even with the injury concerns surrounding Stamkos, Kucherov would still thrive playing with No. 2 center Brayden Point, who broke out for 66 points in 82 games last season. Kucherov, NHL.com's highest ranked fantasy right wing, has the third best points-per-game average over the past two seasons (1.20), behind only Connor McDavid (1.27) and Evgeni Malkin (1.21).
