Tyler Seguin, C (22) - He had a slow start by his standards with 32 points (11 goals, 21 assists) through his first 38 games but finished with 48 points (22 goals, 26 assists) in his final 44. Seguin has finished top five in shots on goal in each of the past three seasons and plays on one of the NHL's most potent lines with elite forwards Jamie Benn and Alexander Radulov. Seguin, one of three players with at least 70 points in each of the past six seasons (others: Sidney Crosby, Nicklas Backstrom), is a preseason top 10 fantasy center, especially after the addition of Joe Pavelski.
John Klingberg, D (49) - The defenseman missed 18 games with a hand injury but had 45 points (10 goals, 35 assists) in 64 games including an NHL career-high five power-play goals. Klingberg brings exposure to the top line of Seguin, Benn and either Radulov or Pavelski and first power-play unit with all four valuable forwards. Klingberg is worth reaching for among the top 10 fantasy defensemen could feasibly exceed his highest point total (67 in 2017-18).
Alexander Radulov, RW (58) - He has finished with 72 points in each of his first two seasons with the Stars and averaged better than a point per game (1.03) last season with NHL career highs in goals (29) and assists (43) in 70 games. Radulov played mostly with Seguin and Benn and is a top 15 fantasy right wing, especially if he remains on the top line; however, Radulov's fantasy value could take a hit if he's replaced by Pavelski at even strength and/or on the first power play.
