WILD 31 IN 31: [Season preview | 3 Questions | Top prospects | Behind the Numbers]
Mathew Dumba, D (NHL.com rank: 103) -- He was leading NHL defensemen in goals (12 through 32 games) before his season-ending injury Dec. 15 and ranks 12th at the position in the category since 2015-16 (47). He covered all six standard fantasy categories when healthy, including hits (60) and power-play points (12). With likely exposure to offseason addition Mats Zuccarello on the first power play, Dumba is a fringe top 100 overall fantasy player and among the 25 best defenseman options.
Devan Dubnyk, G (129) -- Since joining the Wild in 2014-15, Dubnyk has played the most games (317) among all NHL goalies, ranks third in wins (174) and is tied for fourth in save percentage (.920). Even though Minnesota missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs and appears to be on a downward trend, Dubnyk remains a top 20 fantasy goalie and reliable workhorse worth targeting outside the top 100 overall. He has at least 31 wins and 60 games played in each of the past four seasons.

Top 10 saves of 2018-19: Dubnyk

Mats Zuccarello, RW (144) -- The right wing, who signed with the Wild on July 1, had the best points-per-game average (0.83) of his NHL career over 48 games with the New York Rangers and Dallas Stars last season. He was a great fit with Dallas on a line with mostly rookie center Roope Hintz, scoring 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in 13 playoff games. Zuccarello's ceiling may be lower with the Wild than if he stayed with the Stars, but he should still score at least 50 points in a top-six, first power-play role with valuable left wing Zach Parise and/or sleeper Ryan Donato.
Ryan Suter, D (148) -- He led the NHL in average ice time (26:42) last season and scored 47 points (seven goals, 40 assists) last season, 14th among defensemen. He has at least 40 points in six of his past seven full seasons and is a viable late-round selection with a guaranteed heavy workload and solid power-play points coverage (15 last season; 23 in 2017-18). But Suter has a moderate shots on goal output (average of 150 over past three seasons) and has been a minus player in each of the past two seasons as the Wild have gradually declined.

Zach Parise, LW (180) -- The veteran left wing is coming off a bounce-back season (61 points in 74 games) after being limited by injuries over the previous five seasons. Parise led the Wild with 229 SOG and could benefit from having a new linemate on his opposite wing in Donato, who had 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) in 22 games after being acquired from the Boston Bruins, Zuccarello or Kevin Fiala. Parise is a safe choice at a scarce position in the final rounds of a standard fantasy draft.
Other players to consider in late rounds or off waiver wire: Ryan Donato, LW/RW (198); Eric Staal, C (220); Jason Zucker, LW/RW (228); Jared Spurgeon, D (239); Kevin Fiala, LW/RW
