Dougie Hamilton, D (34) -- He was limited to 47 games last season because of a broken fibula, but his points-per-game average (0.85) ranked fourth among NHL defensemen behind John Carlson of the Capitals (1.09), Roman Josi of the Nashville Predators (0.94) and Cale Makar of the Avalanche (0.88). Hamilton, who leads NHL defensemen in goals (49) over the past three seasons, is a fixture on the first power play with Aho, Svechnikov and Teravainen, and is among the top five at the position.
Teuvo Teravainen, LW/RW (59) -- He's 34th in scoring (203 points in 232 games) and tied with Evgeny Kuznetsov of the Capitals for 37th in power-play points (65) over the past three seasons. Over the past two, Teravainen is tied with Panarin and Kucherov for fourth in the NHL with a plus-50 rating and is tied with Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames and Aleksander Barkov of the Florida Panthers for 12th in assists (103) with frequent exposure to Aho and Svechnikov. Teravainen has a high floor considering his shooting percentage dipped last season (8.2 percent; 12.6 in 2018-19) but his points-per-game average did not change (0.93).
