Team Europe is 2-0-0 in Group A play. Team Czech Republic is 0-1-1.

Making his first start of the preliminary round, Mrazek kept Team Czech Republic in the game, stopping a penalty shot by Anze Kopitar in the second period and robbing Roman Josi with a sprawling glove save late in the period. "He gave us a chance to win," Team Czech Republic assistant coach Vinny Prospal said.

His goal 2:17 into the third period gave Team Europe a 2-1 lead. In overtime, he sprung Leon Draisaitl on a breakaway for the game-winning goal.
