Forwards Aleksander Barkov and Jonathan Huberdeau practiced Monday with the Florida Panthers for the first time since each was injured.
Barkov has been out since Dec. 28 because of a back injury; Huberdeau hasn't played this season because of an Achilles injury he sustained during a preseason game Oct. 8.
"I feel better every day and now I'm just skating with the team," Barkov told the Panthers website. "I'm pretty happy to do that, it's a lot more fun than skating on my own. ... I hope to maybe play soon.
