Lou Lamoriello of the New York Islanders became the third general manager in NHL history to reach 2,400 games, trailing only David Poile (2,718) and Glen Sather (2,700). Lamoriello, a three-time Stanley Cup champion (1995, 2000 and 2003 with the New Jersey Devils), is also third among GMs in wins with 1,219, behind Poile (1,344) and Sather (1,319).
