Ovechkin's 2-year-old son Sergei tries skating for the first time

Alex Ovechkin's back on the ice, and he brought a special guest with him.

Sergei, the Washington Capitals captain's 2-year-old son, put on his gear and hit the ice for the first time Wednesday.

of them skating at home in Russia. Sergei looked unsure about the situation, despite being decked out in padding from head to toe, but dad took his hands and helped make sure he didn't fall.
Truth be told, Sergei looked happiest and most comfortable sitting next to his dad on the bench but he'll get the hang of the whole skating thing sooner or later.
