Georgiev was 17-14-2 with a 3.04 goals-against average, a .910 save percentage and two shutouts in 34 games (32 starts) with the Rangers last season. He did not play in the best-of-5 Stanley Cup Qualifier series, which the Rangers lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in three games.
Signed by New York as an undrafted free agent July 17, 2017, Georgiev is 35-31-7 with a 3.00 GAA, a .913 save percentage and four shutouts in 77 NHL games (71 starts).
