The Vancouver Canucks defenseman is facing discipline for kneeing Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman. The incident occurred at 10:09 of the second period in Vancouver's 3-2 overtime win at Rogers Arena on Sunday. Edler received a major penalty for kneeing and a game misconduct at 10:16. Hyman left the game. The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: kneeing. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
