The Anaheim Ducks had some golden news to howl about on Thursday.
The Ducks announced the adoption of their new team dog, a golden retriever named Daisy, in honor of National Puppy Day. Anaheim posted a video of the adorable fur ball meeting her new teammates.
Daisy watched the team practice from the glass before joining the Ducks on the ice to chase around pucks. Trevor Zegras was delighted to see his new teammate.
After, Daisy explored the locker room where she managed to find paper to chew on and posed for pictures in a locker stall. The Ducks rescued the golden retriever puppy from Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. A pawsitvely perfect way to spend the holiday.
