Wild Wing is back on the uniforms, so the Anaheim Ducks goalies got some new masks.
The Ducks unveiled new helmets for John Gibson, Ryan Miller and Anthony Stolarz that coordinate with the adidas Reverse Retro uniform they will wear against the Colorado Avalanche Tuesday.
Our goalies have some new lids for tonight. 👀👀
Each mask will be modeled in Anaheim's legendary eggplant and jade color scheme, including Gibson's which has the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim's original logo and his No. 36 on the other side and a matte finish.
Stolarz's mask has Wild Wing on one side with the Ducks original logo, and Miller's is set in the color scheme the team wore from 1993-06. Anaheim will sport the new uniform, featuring a white jersey with Wild Wing breaking through ice, for the first time Tuesday and is dubbing it "Breakout Night." Anaheim shared old photos of their current players from the 90s as part of the celebration.
