SEATTLE -- The Seattle Kraken scored three straight goals in the third period, including twice on the power play, to recover for a 4-2 win against the Anaheim Ducks at Climate Pledge Arena on Thursday.

Andre Burakovsky had a goal and an assist, and Jared McCann had three assists for the Kraken (30-29-13), who also defeated the Ducks 4-0 in Seattle on Tuesday after losing their previous eight (0-6-2). Philipp Grubauer made 21 saves.

“I guess it's how you answer, and our power play answered,” Seattle coach Dave Hakstol said. “Obviously, to give up the sloppy goals back-to-back that we did can be catastrophic in a game. Fortunately for us, we had another opportunity coming, and those guys were able to capitalize and get one back.”

Jakob Silfverberg had a goal and an assist for the Ducks (24-45-4), who are 1-9-1 in their past 11 games. Lukas Dostal made 24 saves.

Anaheim finished the game 7-for-10 on the penalty kill.

“I think the work ethic was there, but we kind of take ourselves out of the game by taking way too many penalties,” Silfverberg said. “Especially in the third, we have a 2-1 game, and then we just have a parade going to the box. Obviously, that’s not going to make your case easier for winning games.”

Jaden Schwartz gave the Kraken a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal at 9:03 of the second period. Jordan Eberle tried to jam the puck in at the left post, and the rebound of his initial shot deflected in off Schwartz in the crease.

Isac Lundestrom tied it 1-1 with a short-handed goal at 2:08 of the third period, beating Grubauer over his glove from the left hash marks on a rush.

Silfverberg then scored another short-handed goal during the same power play 44 seconds later to give the Ducks a 2-1 lead. He buried his own rebound from the bottom of the right circle after skating in on a partial breakaway.

“I feel like we’ve been doing a good job since we made the change (to a diamond formation),” Silfverberg said. "Obviously, getting two goals tonight is big, but we end up giving up two or three as well.”

Burakovsky tied it 2-2 with a power-play goal at 6:25, scoring with a wrist shot from the top of the slot that deflected in off the stick of Frank Vatrano.

“I thought [McCann] got a stick on it because his stick was right there,” Burakovsky said. “I told him to go first in line and fist-bump the boys, but he said he didn't touch it. I mean, it went in either way, so it was nice to see it go in."

Tye Kartye put Seattle back in front 3-2 at 13:03. He took a pass from Yanni Gourde at the top of the slot and beat Dostal glove side shortly after a power play expired.

It was his first goal since Jan. 13 (26 games).

“I feel like we stayed positive (after giving up two short-handed goals), and we knew there was still a lot of time left,” Kartye said. “That's why we were able to sneak one out there.”

Matty Beniers made it 4-2 at 15:35 with a redirection of McCann's shot for another power-play goal.

NOTES: Eberle's assist on Schwartz's goal was his 400th in the NHL. He is also one goal shy of 300, and one point shy of 700. ... Anaheim scored at least two short-handed goals in a game for the first time since Oct. 26, 2016.
